Coventry distance swimmer Ray Gandy left Potters Cove on Jamestown and swam around the island twice. The 40 mile swim took him 20 hours.

He was not allowed to touch the boat that followed him. He was able to take drink and food from that boat.

Gandy talks with NBC 10's Frank Carpano about his swim to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Rhode Island.
