Providence, RI -- The Providence College men's basketball team has lost 5 of it's last 7 games, after suffering a 103-84 home loss to Notre Dame. The Irish were led by Ryan Ayers, who scored 28, making seven of Notre Dame’s 13 3-pointers. Notre Dame moves their record to 15-11, and 6-8 in Big East play.
The Friars had two shining stars; seniors Weyinmi Efejuku and Sharaud Curry. Weyinmi tallied a career-high 31 points, while Curry also had a hot hand, netting 23 for PC. The loss drops Providence to 16-11, and 8-7 in the Conference. Next up for the Friars is 4th nationally ranked Pittsburgh at the Dunkin Donuts Center on Tuesday 7PM.
