Pizza shop manager, boyfriend charged in fake robbery

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Police said the manager of a pizza shop in Somerset and her boyfriend tried to stage a robbery in order to steal $1,000 from the business.

Jacqueline Eaton, 19, and her boyfriend 24-year-old Arthur Pereira, both of Somerset, were arraigned Tuesday in Fall River District Court.

Authorities said Eaton told police that hooded robbers forced her to open a safe at gunpoint at the Domino's Pizza on County Street, and then tied her up until she was found by a delivery driver.

But when police tracked down the car witnesses saw leaving the store, investigators traced the car back to the manager's boyfriend.
