A Westerly mother was charged Monday in connection with the drowning of her daughter more than a year ago.
Michelle Kinnaird was indicted on one charge of involuntary manslaughter.
Her 1-year-old daughter, Melina, died in May 2009. She was found unresponsive in the bathtub.
Neighbors attempted to revive the baby before rescue crews arrived.
She's scheduled to return to court on July 16.
