NBC 10 and Citizens Bank are teaming up to support local nonprofit organizations with the Champions in Action program.

Twice a year, a nonprofit organization in Rhode Island will be chosen to receive a $35,000 grant as well as media coverage and promotional and volunteer support.

The selection committee will include community leaders and representatives from Citizens Bank and NBC 10.

The award winner will receive $35,000 in unrestricted funds, media coverage, public service announcements and television profiles.

The winner will also receive volunteer support and extensive public relations support as well as promotional support, which highlights the Champions in Action in all Citizens Bank branches and on its ATMs.
