Students at a Woonsocket elementary school showed their pride for the New England Patriots on Friday while wrapping up a week of sports-themed reading.
The students made Super Bowl signs and also put together some Patriots-themed cheers.
"This is what I want. I want the students to get into the spirit of the Giants and the Patriots. We want them to read books about sports, so we've been reading and the whole school is getting into this. All I want is reading, so I want the spirit of New England and New York working together so our students can get the best education they can receive," said Citizens Memorial School Principal Raphael Diaz.
The students voted on which team they thought would win the Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots overwhelmingly won the vote.
