A Swansea business owner was arraigned in court Tuesday, accused of hiding a camera in the restroom so he could watch it on his computer.
Marco Silva, 40, of Fall River, was charged with photographing an unsuspecting nude person. He was released on $2,000 bail.
Police said the incident happened at Kolby Rentals, a business Silva owns on GAR Highway in Swansea.
A female employee told police she noticed a view of the restroom on Silva's computer in the office and said she noticed he would go into his office and shut the door when she and other female workers used the restroom.
Police said they seized a hidden camera from the bathroom as well as a VCR and monitor from Silva's office.
Silva spoke briefly to NBC 10 as he was coming out of court and said that the cameras he had installed were security cameras.
A judge said Silva can't have any contact with employees and cannot have video recording devices at his business.
Silva is scheduled to be back in court in March.
