DEM: Dolphin washes up on Westerly shore

WESTERLY, R.I. --

A dolphin seen off the coast of Westerly on Monday has died.

A representative for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management says they called Mystic Aquarium to recover the dolphin that washed up on shore.

DEM says the aquarium will perform a necropsy to see how the dolphin died.
