Fire damages Exeter home

EXETER, R.I. --

A fire on Sunday damaged a home on Williams Reynolds Road in Exeter.

Fire officials said an elderly couple who was home at the time of the fire was taken to an area hospital for observation.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known and is under investigation.
