One dead after fishing vessel sink off Jamestown

One person is dead after a fishing vessel took on water and capsized in the waters off of Jamestown.

Investigators have released the name of the victim of a boating accident over the weekend.

Sang Oh, 61, of Flushing, N.Y. drowned after his 18-foot boat capsized Saturday morning off Jamestown.

Officials told NBC 10 the boat began to take on water and eventually sunk.  Two of the boaters attempted to swim to shore and the third decided to stay with the boat.  One swam safely to shore while the other never made it.  The third victim was rescued by a Jamestown marine unit.

Tht two men that survived the incident were identified as 52-year-old Yoon Park and 42-year-old Tacksoon Jeng.  Both men are from New Jersey.
