T.F. Green receives $3.2M for security upgrades

WASHINGTON -- In an effort to strengthen security at airports, the Transportation Security Administration on Wednesday announced $3.2 million for the installation of a closed circuit television system at T.F. Green Airport.

Kevin Dillon, president and CEO of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation said, "We are pleased to have the support for this important installation at T.F. Green Airport. The TSA funding will further enhance our ongoing safety and security programs."

The funds will enhance the security systems currently in place at the airport.
