JAMESTOWN, R.I. - Motorists have until the end of the day to redeem unused tickets for the Claiborne Pell bridge.
The bridge connecting Jamestown and Newport now only accepts cash and E-ZPass.
Tokens can be redeemed for credit until 6 p.m. Thursday at an E-ZPass trailer adjacent to the bridge.
Earlier this year, the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority raised the cash fare for the bridge for the first time in the span's 40-year history.
