WARWICK, R.I. -- The implementation of new boarding measures has had little impact on wait times at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick.
New measures were put into place after a man allegedly tried to blow up a plane in Detroit.
Those measures include more thorough pat-downs of passengers and closer inspection of luggage.
Travelers at some airports have been forced to wait in longer lines, but that has not generally been the case at Green.
The Associated Press reported that some of the restrictions once in the air can be lifted.
It will be up to pilots to decide whether passengers can have blankets or other items on their laps or get out of their seats toward the end of flights.
