Driver arrested in road rage incident

»  Comments | Post a Comment

CRANSTON, R.I. -- Jeffrey Johnson, 38, of Pawtucket picked the wrong man to vent his road rage on Monday night, police said.

It appears that Johnson was angry that a driver in front of him stopped abruptly to let a cat cross the road. He followed the car through Cranston's Eden Park neighborhood, then got out of his vehicle, said he was the police, and started fighting with the other driver.

That driver turned out to be a real policeman, Providence Deputy Police Chief Paul Kennedy.

Johnson was arrested.
