NORFOLK, Mass. -- Authorities say a 17-year-old Plainville girl who was last seen at a party last week appears to have drowned.
The body of Taylor Meyer was found Monday in a swampy area in Norfolk.
The Norfolk District Attorney's office said Wednesday an autopsy found no signs of foul play or trauma, but "the available evidence is consistent with death by drowning."
A final cause of death won't be issued by the state medical examiner until more standard tests have been completed.
Meyer was last seen at a party Friday night in a secluded area at the site of a former airport. She was reported missing Saturday afternoon.
