NBC 10 visited 8-year-old Grace Carey back in April.
She's still active and not much has changed.
She's healthy, three years after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Her treatments were rough on her physically and she lost all of her hair.
"She lost it during radiation and then continued to lose it during chemotherapy," said Grace's mother, Bekah Ham.
Ham reeled into action after her daughter's battle with cancer and jumped on board with a group of mothers from all over the country called 46 Mommas. There are 46 of them to call attention to the fact that every day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer.
The group is preparing to make a rather bold statement. On Sept. 7, they will all shave their heads.
"There are some moms who are joining us who've lost their kids and then some who are still in treatment. Grace is a survivor so there are some kids who'll be joining us there as survivors. Grace will be mine," Ham said.
Grace's 12-year-old sister Fiona will be there.
"I think that really hasn't sunk in yet, that she won't have any hair," Fiona said. "I think it's not bad 'cause it's gonna grow back."
The shaving will be aired in a nationally televised Stand Up To Cancer special on Sept. 10.
