URI Wins 20th Game of the Season

BRONX, N.Y.—Seniors Jimmy Baron and Kahiem Seawright combined for 42 points as Rhode Island cruised past Fordham, 77-58.

Baron tallied a season-high 29 points, connecting on 10-of-12 from the floor, including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc. Seawright was a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor, scoring 13 points to go along with six rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.

With the win, Rhode Island improved to 20-8 overall and 9-4 in A-10 play. It is the second straight 20-win season for the Rams and the 18th time in program history that the team has won 20 games in a single-season.
