URI Head Football Head Coach Darren Rizzi Steps Down
KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Rhode Island head football head coach Darren Rizzi has stepped down to take an assistant coaching position with the Miami Dolphins.
Rizzi leaves his alma mater after spending just one season with the team. Rizzi came to Kingston after he spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Rutgers University.
