Four local high school students were honored by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Hall of Fame linebacker Andre Tippett.
Four Rhode Island high school students who wrote essays were among a group of New Englanders honored by the New England Patriots.
The students entered a creative writing contest sponsored by the Patriots and Fidelity Investments.
East Greenwich’s Brendan O’Brien, West Warwick’s Alexander Breault, Warwick’s Alli Smith and Alyssa Stenson were the Rhode Island winners.
Nearly $100,000 in scholarship money was awarded to 36 New England students.
