Providence tops Brown, wins Mayor’s Cup

PROVIDENCE—The Providence men’s hockey team beat Brown 4-3 Tuesday to take the Mayor’s Cup.
The Friars jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after the first period.
Brown lost starting goalie Dan Rosen to an injury less than a minute and a half into the game.
