PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Sports fans are getting a chance to come face-to-face with members of the Providence Friars basketball teams.

The college is holding its annual Friar Fanfest at Alumni Hall on Saturday afternoon.

The free event includes an intramural scrimmage involving members of the men’s team, inflatable balloon animals and face painting.

Fans can also seek autographs from members of the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

New men’s coach Keno Davis will be on hand. The reigning AP coach of the year was hired in April after a successful debut season as head coach at Drake.
