Patriots sign CB Darius Butler, 2d-round pick

FOXBOROUGH, Mass.—The New England Patriots have signed their second-round draft choice, cornerback Darius Butler.
Butler played at Connecticut.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound cornerback was a first-team All-Big East pick as a senior in 2008. He finished his collegiate career with 125 total tackles, 10 interceptions and 26 passes defended.
He was taken with the 41st pick overall.
