FOXBOROUGH, Mass.—The Patriots are wrapping up training camp with running back Laurence Maroney making it through without injury.

New England holds its final practice of camp Tuesday afternoon in preparation for Thursday night’s home preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Center Dan Koppen said the camp may have been the toughest of his seven with the Patriots. But Maroney wasn’t complaining after missing the last 13 games last season with a shoulder injury.

The 2006 first-round pick is healthy now. Coach Bill Belichick said Maroney has had a productive camp and has improved in the passing game. Maroney is one of four veteran running backs and said he welcomes competing with Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk and Fred Taylor.
