LaSalle and South Kingstown capture state gymnastics crowns.

The LaSalle girls gymnastics team won its seventh straight Division I state title with a record-setting 147.1 points.
The Rams were led by Meghan Fogarty and Meghan Soltys, who scored 9.45 or better in each of their performances. Meghan Fogarty was crowned state all-around champion for her individual performances on the vault, bars, beam, and floor exercise.
In Division II, South Kingstown won its third straight state gymnastics title.
The Rebels were led by Courtney Lyford’s 8.60 and 8.25 on the beam and bars. Teresa Zhang also contributed to South Kingstown’s title drive by scoring 8.75 and 8.55 on the floor and vault.
