Celtics make roster move

BOSTON—The Boston Celtics have recalled rookie guard J.R. Giddens from their NBA Development League affiliate Utah Flash.
Giddens was recalled Thursday after being reassigned to the Flash on Feb. 5. He appeared in three games since his second assignment with averages of 17.0 points and 3.0 rebounds.
Giddens has appeared in 15 games for the Flash this season with season averages of 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.27 steals and 1.40 blocks.
