‘Special Assignment’ focuses on US Senate race in Mass.

The next edition of “10 News Conference: Special Assignment” takes a closer look at Massachusetts politics.

NBC 10 Mass Bureau reporter Brian Crandall is joined by Shannon Jenkins, a political science professor at UMass-Dartmouth, for a discussion about the appointment of Paul Kirk to the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Edward Kennedy.  They’ll also talk about the special election to fill the seat.

The program also focuses on municipal elections in Fall River and New Bedford.
