Obama to attend Patrick event in Boston

BOSTON—The details are set for President Barack Obama’s upcoming visit to Boston.
The president will arrive Oct. 23 for a fundraising lunch for Gov. Deval Patrick at the Westin Copley Place. Patrick is up for re-election in 2010.
In announcing the president’s visit, Patrick said in a video that his political agenda is “very closely” aligned with that of his fellow Chicagoan and Harvard Law graduate.
Patrick said, “The Obama administration has looked to the commonwealth for ways to move this whole nation,“ including its universal health care plan and emphasis on green technology jobs.
Patrick said his three opponents—Republicans Charles Baker and Christy Mihos, and independent Timothy Cahill—“want to move Massachusetts back.“

I wish Mr. Obama(who I voted for)would run this country, and stop shilling for the poor excuses for leaders in the Bay State, and also in other states.Pols(new and incumbent) should be voted in on their own merits, not in a visit by a dignitary,or hollywood losers. This Ship of State is akin to the “Titanic"and if the Captain isn’t on the bridge, something ominous will happen.President Obama should have awaken after the Chicago Debacle,he shouldn’t and is not a celebrity,he is our President whether you voted for him or not.
