General Assembly to return in October

PROVIDENCE—The Rhode Island General Assembly says it will return for two days next month to take up unresolved legislation.
The House of Representatives and the Senate will be in session Oct. 28-29.
In June, the General Assembly declared an unusual summer break, leaving major legislation unresolved. It remains unclear which bills will be considered during next month’s meeting.
The Senate was briefly in session last week to vote on judicial nominees.
