Employees reported the break-in Monday morning in the office House Majority Leader Gordon Fox, a Providence Democrat. No one has been charged.

A State House source told NBC the Majority Leader’s office was broken into through a side door in a hallway which leads directly into Fox’s office. The main entrance and reception area did not appear to have been entered.

The source also told NBC 10 items were tossed around the office, but it didn’t appear anything was missing.
