Councilman calls for Menard’s answer

WOONSOCKET, R.I. -- Woonsocket City Councilman William Schenck says he'd like Mayor Susan Menard to attend the next council meeting to say once and for all whether she's staying or leaving the mayor's office.

Schenck is quoted in the Woonsocket Call. Mayor Menard announced earlier this year she'd leave office June 15 but she's still on the job. "Is she still the mayor?" Schenck asked rhetorically, and went on to ask--"Does anyone know"?
