well its about time to see this on the news! My children were at Toll Gate and I can attest this grade changing and other outrageous acts by the TG Guidance department did in fact happen. My son was class president during this particular case and I got very freindly with the students, this did happen to students and to Mrs Oneill! The principal and guidance dept did promise validictorian to a student. it was even a student who transferred in and did not even particiapte with the class. This did effect grades making the student lose scholarships. This happened exactly like the parents are stating. I was there, I saw it and I even had my own run ins with this incompetent guidance department. In fact I wrote letters to the Warwick Beacon back in 2006 stating this!
Thank you channel 10 and Rep Trillo and Councilwoman Helen Taylor for exposing this.
I can attest the Warwick School department AND this principal lies as I have caught them in lies and dirty dealings with my own kids at Toll Gate.  I even took my youngest out of Toll Gate and transferred to Vets after TG guidance told her to quit school.I had to have the School Committee make the transfer happen after TG lied about events. She graduated Vets back on the honor roll and is now in College. Thank you Vets!
I stand with the parents and Ms Oneill on this. They are telling the truth!!!
