Woman, child rescued from burning home

PAWTUCKET, R.I.—Firefighters in Pawtucket rescued a woman and a three-year-old child from a burning home Sunday night.
The fire started shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Perrin Avenue.
Fire officials say the fire was in a closet under a stairwell and therefore hard to find, but they managed to put out the blaze with only moderate damage to the home.
