Woman, baby struck by car

PROVIDENCE—A woman pushing a baby carriage escaped serious injury when she was struck by a car in Providence on Wednesday.

The accident happened at about 3 p.m. on River Avenue.

The woman had minor injuries. The 2-month-old baby was not injured.
