Veterans honored throughout Southern New England

Veteran’s Day ceremonies were held throughout Southern New England on Wednesday morning.

In Bristol, a wreath was laid at the War Memorial Garden and followed by an interfaith service at the Rhode Island Veterans Home.

In Swansea, the American Legion Post held its traditional observance with a wreath laying and color guard ceremony at town hall on Main Street.

In North Kingstown, veterans were honored with a parade. It started at Wilson Park then followed West Main to Brown Street and Boston Neck Road. The parade concluded at the high school with a Veteran’s Day ceremony.
