UMass Dartmouth cancels fireworks display

UMass Dartmouth has canceled a fireworks display planned for Thursday night.
The school said a forecast of evening thunderstorms prompted the decision.
The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra Pops concert has been moved indoors. The concert will be held at 7:45 p.m. in the Main Auditorium.
Doors to the 800-seat facility will open at 6:45 p.m. Parking for the concert will be in Lots 4 and 5.
