NEW BEDFORD, Mass.—New Bedford police arrested and charged two people in connection with fires that destroyed two vacant North End tenements.
Police said Monday the two suspects, Arthur Wrightington and Carrie Gosson, both of New Bedford, were also questioned about a third fire that happened in the same area.
The fires on Nye Street and North Front Street happened back in April.
