Blaming the landlords is probably the dumbest OPINION I’ve ever read. You should be blaming THE PERSON WHO COMMITTED THE CRIME, HE is the one at fault, HE made the decision to use his gun, HE made the decision to pull the trigger.

AND nothing good comes from being out at 4am.

Yeah, OK wildfires—blame the landlords.  Has it occured to you that if the landlords refuse to rent to anyone that has the slightest mark on their personal record, there wouldn’t be hardly anyone to rent to?

Why not blame the shop where these people got the guns used—although those guns were probably stolen already.  Why not blame Wal Mart or K Mart for selling baseball bats to people—after all those people don’t use them for baseball.  Or maybe blame the local lumberyard.  After all, the two by fours used as weapons come from somewhere, don’t they.

GET REAL!  Most landlords don’t have the resources to screen the prospective tenants that closely—and anyway, when a person wants to rent and shows up with cash, these days a landlord would be a fool to turn them away.

Blame the landlords?  WTH?  Did they put guns in the hands of these low lifes?  NO!  The low lifes have to live somewhere too.  Too bad the low lifes don’t realize that life is not a video game…and when you shoot someone….they don’t stand up and come back.  THEY DIE!  They don’t just kill the person they are pissed off at the moment….they kill that persons whole family with pain!

My heart goes out to his boys and his girl, this is tragedy.  Fall River police know that East Main is a problem, they know whose who and whats going on. But the question is who is to blame for the southend being the way it is?? My opinion is blame the landlords.  If they all took time to run checks on there tenants and actually cared about who there renting to instead of just having them pay there mortgage this bull would never of happened.  When is Fall Rivers finest going to stepup to the plate and rid the southend of this nonsense?? Maybe not till one of our children die or better yet maybe not till it happens to there own family thats when we will see change.

The current mayor cut public safety personnel—both police and fire—and that is where this city is now—more crime.  It’s a wonder that there haven’t been more fires here too.
