WORCESTER, Mass.—A Worcester teenager, accused of killing her 1-year-old son, is pregnant.
Nga Thi Truong is being held without bail. Her son, Khyle Truong, died Sunday.
She is being held without bail, after reportedly confessing to smothering the baby with a teddy bear.
In 2000, police found her 3-month-old brother dead after they received an emergency call from the girl’s home. Nga Thi Truong, who turned 17 on Wednesday, was just 8 years old at the time of her baby brother’s death.
Her attorney says in that case, the child died from sudden infant death syndrome.
