State releases unclaimed property list

PROVIDENCE—You could soon be coming into some money.

The state of Rhode Island is releasing its list of unclaimed property this week. And with more than $200 million in assets.

Another 14,000 names were added to those already on the list with missing money or property.

Some of these unclaimed accounts date back to World War II.

To search for your name on the General Treasurer’s Missing Money list check the State of Rhode Island Web site.
