PAWTUCKET, R.I.—Not everyone in Pawtucket was happy to see a former congressman speak Wednesday night.
Protestors came out against former congressman and Republican presidential candidate Tom Tancredo.
Tancredo is an opponent of illegal immigration. Students from Providence College invited him to speak, but the school said no. So he took his speech and opinions to Pawtucket.
Rhode Islanders for Immigration Law Enforcement invited Tancredo to speak.

It’s great to see him here these protesters are mostly illegals and college protesters who don’t work and have no clue what it is really like in the real world these are the same morons who think free trade the export of American jobs is a good thing as we can see today with unemployment at record levels they are wrong .
These illegals have no real state issued identification and many collect and work at the same time with no reason to stop .
We also have groups that want real identifications issued to them but stupid politicians call this discrimination !
Where is Ice when you need them they should be showing up at these protests and arrest these law breakers !

i was happy to see him. The message needs to get out especially in the inner city where the illegals hide amongst the poor.
im so sick of this phrase: DO YOU WANT ENGLISH OR ESPANOL?????
THis is the united states of america
NOT The spanish states of america,
learn the language and stop stealing american jobs. they flood the market with cheap labor so the poorest of the poor cant even get a job if they wanted too they are bad for everybody. We should adopt a immigration policies similar to australia and other counties. They keep producing and they are becoming the majority!
