Sources close to the investigation say three suspects in a Rehoboth home invasion were possibly targeting a number of homes in town.

The armed assault happened Sept. 18 on School Street, where a woman was tied up.

Sources said the suspects considered killing the woman before they robbed her, stole her car and led police on chase into Pawtucket.

John Keough, 27, of Malden, was arrested after a standoff in Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket.

Keough’s alleged accomplices were arrested two days ago.

Paul Matthews, of Rockland, and James McDonald, of Weymouth, also face charges.

The Taunton Gazette reported that Keough and Matthews were cellmates in prison.
