PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Gov. Don Carcieri says Rhode Island will receive $17.2 million in federal stimulus money to help put teens to work this summer.

Carcieri and legislative leaders planned to announce the funding at a Statehouse news conference Monday.

The money is part of a grant program to support work force training for adults, dislocated workers, youth and older Rhode Islanders.
