Residents will pick color of Braga Bridge
Published: August 3, 2009
The Braga Bridge is about to get a fresh coat of paint.
And officials with the Massachusetts Highway Department said residents will get to pick the color.
O Jornal reported that the exact voting process has yet to be worked out, but the public will probably get to choose from a palette of colors.
But one thing is certain.
The bridge won’t be red. Officials said that color fades too fast.

OK, so when and how? This story is just a sugar pill to keep people happy.
I think red would be the perfect color for the Braga Bridge. It represents the state of our state and federal budgets and also which way the government is turning (i.e. Communist/Socialist);therefore I think it’s fitting.
I think they should paint the bridge Red… Red is a great color, it will make the area look more attractive. Look at how the golden gate bridge looks…. Red is the way to go, vote red.
How about they color the bridge with a batch of spotted paint?

Who said I wanted anything? Did you forget to your meds?
ooo I hit a nerve… ![]()
Suggest all you want. You kids always want everything and don’t care about how it’s going to be paid for.
If you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen—or off the blogs—and that is in direct reference to YOUR whining. Goodbye.
Even though you “did” comment about the “fact” there is “more” to “worry” about than a “painted bridge”, but you did whine about the money old man…
“You kids get off my lawn!“
So I “suggest” you keep your suggestions to yourself gramps…
budite26101, I suggest you open your eyes and read the comments instead of just commenting. I said there are more important things to worry about in my comment.
I SURE HOPE THIS POOR READER HAS MANY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT THAN THE COLOR OF A BRIDGE. I CERTAINLY DO AND I DON’T EVEN WORRY ABOUT IT. THAT CERTAINLY DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT IS NOT OF INTEREST TO ME. I FEEL SORRY FOR FOLKS WHO WOULD COMPARE THIS ITEM OF PUBLIC INTEREST TO THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS THEY HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT.
