Report: Burglars were dressed as cable contractors

The New Bedford Guardian Angels chapter is being credited with helping in two arrests made Wednesday in a neighborhood recently plagued by house break-ins.

The Standard-Times reported that four Guardian Angels were patrolling Briarwood Drive as the arrests were made.

Investigators said the two suspects, 31-year-old Christopher Baptista and 30-year-old Sonia Cote, both of New Bedford, were dressed as cable television contractors.
