Reed to rally support for health care overhaul

PROVIDENCE—Rhode Island Sen. Jack Reed is joining cancer survivors to call for comprehensive health care reform.
The Democrat says he plans to rally support Monday behind a health care overhaul being debated in Congress. He says the bill would help contain health care costs, expand coverage to uninsured Americans and improve the quality of health care.
President Barack Obama acknowledged at a news conference in Italy on Friday that the legislation faced a tough fight amid continuing debate over how to pay for it. Conservative Democrats are demanding major changes before they’ll support a health care overhaul.
Reed will appear Monday morning at the American Cancer Society in Warwick.

This guy has a double-whammy…he was on the Senate Banking Committee with felow inmate Sen Chris Dodd and took millions from the banks and financial institutions and then looked away from the lending abuses.Remember, DODD got special mortgages from Countrywide. It pays to be a US SENATOR…$174,000 plus all you can steal from the folks.
Here’s the other ....this SCUMBAG was the Chairman of the sub-committee that oversaw the insurance companies and securities traders on Wall Street. Do you see what I see…..this guy was in charge of overseeing AIG—-the epicenter of the entire financial meltdown…..credit default swaps…...
Then to add insult to injury he failed to regulate or send up distress signals on what the Wall Street traders were doing…..oil speculaters….thank JACK GREED for the $4.50 per gallon you were paying for gas last yr.
This guy is either totally corrupt or incredibly STUPID….either way…..GUILTY AS CHARGED!!! Throw him out of office…..

Little Jackie “take the money and run” Reed has no credibility after the millions he took from lenders prior to the economic meltdown.
