A rare blue lobster caught about eight miles south of Little Compton in September has a new home.

The lobster has been donated to the Biomes Marine Biology Center in North Kingstown.

Gary Mataronas Jr. caught the lobster.

He said the family thought of donating it to the Mystic Aquarium but the museum already has four of them.
