I agree with Eltorro. I also think the President is a good man who means well.
I also think there is good and bad democrats. Congress is corrupt. The last administration was a disaster but not just because they were republicans. The problem is people like you mentioned in your post. That dont look at an individual for his or her merits. That throws a blanket over what he does’nt understand. We have to get career minded politicians both dems and reps out of office. Chris Dodd and Barney Frank were either in on it or they were to stupid to see it. Either way the need to be out! I would like to hear Kennethnkn’s response to them as to there role in the financial crisis. No…he’ll hide in his mouse hole or come out raving and throwing insults but he wont adresss the issue of these two….and I would so much love to hear it. Good post eltorro!

I’m new to this forum so I want to be careful and just state what I believe. The post that kennethknk wrote. I want to respectivly disagree with you on some of your points. I hope you won’t attack me…
I realize you were yelling at someone else when you said like a republican you can’t own up to your lies. I know of many democrates that have lied to us all in the recent past. I used to be a democrate but now I believe that being partisian is falling into the lies ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ISLE that they want us to believe. This troubles me terribly. I am no longer going to be a pawn and trusting to one party. I believe the President to be a good man and he disires to do good by this country. I also belive there are good republicans as well. I feel that is wrong of you to say that they should be wearing hoods like the KKK. I believe there very frustrated at the historical amout of money that is being spent. I think we all should be.
I can’t help but feel that your being just like you say “they” are…your just on the other side. Which to me is the fundemental problem in American Politics.

As I’ve said all along - the government has mismanaged, manipulated, lied, mislead, and bankrupted everything they’ve touched due to corruption, greed, neoptism. Who in their right mind thinks that health care can be managed any better? It simply cannot. This plan has been bouncing around since the mid-90’s. It didn’t float then, it ain’t gonna work now. It’s riddled with pork, our congressmen ARE NOT going to be a part of it, and it’s going to cost 1.5 TRILLION dollars to be sure 41 million are insured. Can you spell s-t-u-p-i-d? How about g-u-l-l-i-b-l-e. This is NOT about ensuring that the uninsured are insured. All you have to do is put a few million aside, fix what’s wrong with what we have (ILLEGAL ALIEN FREE TREATMENT PEOPLE). I’m TIRED of picking up the dime for everyone else…we have elderly who cannot pay for prescriptions. FIX THAT. Let the illegals go back home to get health care.
Obama’s speech was just a rehash of the same old stuff with his charesmatic delivery. He seemed to be pretty nasty during his accusitory comments saying its all lies coming from these protestors. The congressman that shouted out liar was correct and its about time someone spoke out. We can’t expect the media to give us the truth and certainly not the politicians who are pushing this massive takeover. I say slow down and address the things we can change and all agree on.
1. Litigation Reform
2. Sales of policies across state lines
3. clean up the fraud in Medicade and Medicare.
Start with these and see how it goes maybe throw in medical savings accounts and allow people to buy their own policies. We don’t need a government takeover of our health care system, what do they run right?

Never in Presidential history has onyone yelled out (LIES) or any other character demeaning comments when a president was addressing the nation. There in no excuse for that you could see on there WHITE REPUBLICAN faces they wern’t going to be told what to do by a BLACK MAN President.They would have been better off wearing there hoods so we couldn’t see there sour faces.
Most Americans are past color and with these actions by the Republicans most Americans see what they are all about now and will vote them out.Republicans still say the Presedent wasn’t born here a Republican LIE,Death Panels a Republican Lie and illegal imirgrants will have free coverage another Republican Lie I won’t even go into the war Lies that Bush told . Yeah!!! those are the kind of people we need leading this country real standup people.
