I’m really hoping Tokyo gets it!
I know that must be a pretty rare opinion for an American but I’m a huge fan of Japanese culture and animation.
I love the Tokyo 2016 website and their conceptual art more than the other competing countries.
It would be the perfect excuse for me to start planning that trip I’ve wanted for quite a while (and plenty of time to save for it!). Not to mention there will be more touristy preparation and packages!
Of course if Tokyo doesn’t get it…I wouldn’t mind a trip to Chicago. I just would hope we don’t do anything to embarrass ourselves too badly in the international spotlight.
