Providence Place Mall without power for hours

PROVIDENCE– The lights are back on at the Providence Place Mall after a power failure Sunday morning.

Crews worked to make repairs for most of the day after half of the mall was left without power related to the weekend weather.

The department stores were not affected by the outage.

The parking gates will remain up and no parking fees will be charged for the remainder of Sunday, according to a mall spokesperson.
