PROVIDENCE—Rhode Island health authorities are recommending that three more beaches be closed to swimming because of high levels of bacteria in the water.

The Department of Health said Friday that Oakland Beach in Warwick and Atlantic Beach Club Beach and Third Beach in Middletown weren’t safe for swimming.

Governor Notte Park Beach in North Providence also remains closed.
